Under $2.00 Homemade Birthday Cake

My kids and I  made a birthday cake on last Saturday.

We used
 two  cake mix boxes for 39 cents /each,
 and 99 cent- frosting from Stater bros,
and a bag of chocolate I got from Rite Aid for free 
 and free chocolate sprinkle we already had from my stock.

Total was under $2.00.

My son (13 years old) baked the bottom layer. It was chocolate. My daughter(11 years old) baked the top layer which was strawberry. She used chocolate frosting. (Most of time, making dessert is my daughter's joy.)

It was yum!

 What kind of cakes do you bake?

 생일케잌을  앞당겨 지난 주말에 딸래미를 위해 만들었어요. 사실 저는 굽는데는 잼병이라 아들내미랑 딸래미를 꼬셔 케잌을 만들었는데 딸래미의 아이디어로 처음 2층 짜리 케잌을 만들었어요.

밑에 층은 열 세살인 아들래미가 구워내고 위층은 열한살 된 딸래미가 구워내고요. 워낙 요리하기를 좋아하는 딸래미가 프로스팅(설탕으로 옷을 입히는 것)까지 하고 ...지난 주에 Stater Bros 에서 쿠폰닝해온 쵸코렛 (꽁짜)이랑  케잌믹스(39 센트짜리 2박스)랑 프로스팅(99센트)이랑 해서 2 불도 안들었어요.
